A hands-on fabrication workshop in Rosedale, on Auckland’s North Shore. A small team, a full workshop, and the same people on your job from the first phone call to delivery.
Our story
At TFW we pride ourselves on having the expertise, equipment and resources to focus on the success of our customers’ projects. We can be depended on to fully meet your welding and fabrication needs, large or small, conventional or unique.
Between us we have over 60 years in the trade, and the company was formally established as Total Fabrication & Welding in 2004. Twenty years on, that same trade knowledge is still what the workshop runs on.
We’re a hands-on workshop in Rosedale on Auckland’s North Shore, working across stainless, aluminium and mild steel.
We work for shopfitters who need a repeat run to come out identical, for manufacturers who need frames, guarding and spare parts, and for builders, fit-out companies and homeowners who need something made that you simply can’t buy off a shelf.
Every job gets the same treatment: proper preparation, the right welding process for the material, and a finish that suits where the metalwork is going to live.
How TFW started
The experience came a long way before the company did. That hands-on trade knowledge is still what the workshop runs on, and it is why we can usually tell you on the phone whether an idea will actually work in metal.
The company was formally established, and the name has not changed in the twenty years since. Neither has the way we quote: what the job needs, what it will cost, and when you will have it.
A small team in a workshop on Parkway Drive, working across stainless, aluminium and mild steel. Most of what we make is for people who have used us before, which is the part we are proudest of.
The team
A small team, so you deal with the same people from the first phone call through to pickup.
